Lori’s training philosophy is based on partnership and mutual respect between horse and rider. All riders have the opportunity to fine tune their position and skills on schoolmasters that range from a child learning to ride on a pony to adults on her FEI schoolmaster or on the student’s own mount. Students learn a balanced and secure seat through exercises performed on the horse while the horse is controlled by the instructor on the longe, a time-honored tool of classical equitation and dressage. This provides the rider with security and self-confidence which in turn reduces the risk of injury.
